I wasn’t really fond of Call of Duty 5 so I won’t talk much about it except that if you really want it, you could probably find it for less than $60 in many places right now. With that said, it’s time to think about next Christmas as this one already passed. I’m looking forward to Call of Duty 6, which was made by the brilliant minds who created Call of Duty 4. I suspect that it won’t disappoint like 5 did.
And for you WW2 fanatics, sorry but we’re going to modern warfare again! It will of course be on the 360 and probably PS3/Wii as well. I have a feeling it’ll be on the PC too.
I hope they implement some sort of zombie mode as well as that would be awesome, except that zombies might not really work for modern warfare but if it’s something similar I’ll be satisfied. Perhaps some sort of terrorist hunt, just like in Rainbow Six Vegas.

I wonder if this game is actually going to be good or not. Can Halo still be exploited?
I’m fond of RTS games, but I can’t imagine Halo taking a Warcraft III approach. However at least it might be better than Halo 3 as that was honestly a big let down. If I do get this game it might be for the PC as I’m not really fond of 360 RTS games. That Tom Clancy game for instance did impress me but felt rather awkward on the Xbox 360. Right now you can get some preorder bonuses from some shops if you do so now so if you’re a huge Halo fan it might be worth preordering now to get this extra swag. If the game sucks though, don’t blame me!
Also, keep an eye out for Halo ODST as that should be interesting as well..

If you’ve never played the infamous GTA clone, Crackdown, I suggest you go download the demo for it ASAP. It even has online co-op. With that out of the way, TeamXbox claims that Crackdown 2 might be in the works. I’m excited as I loved the first one. I liked it a lot more than GTA IV as it kept the fun aspect, unlike GTA IV.
Since there’s just speculation right now, not sure what Crackdown 2 will include if it is made. But I have a feeling that there will be more than just multiplayer co-op. Perhaps some sort of team deathmatch mode.. I also hope that your character is more customizable, as for the storyline, not sure what it will be either but I suspect it might have to do with some old criminals coming back or perhaps it will take place elsewhere. I just hope they don’t bog it down with realism though, as that would ruin the series.

Amidst the GTA IV DLC, Gears of War 2 release, and our beloved Left 4 Dead, most of you might have forgotten about The Godfather. Yeah the first one wasn’t all that great but it was a decent GTA alternative at the time. As for The Godfather II, it might take over the multiplayer sector if it’s executed right. It seems to have realism, yet fun. Something that GTA IV struggled with. An interesting multiplayer mode in this game is going to be the one where you have to crack the other team’s safe, while defending yours. It’s quite similar to “Capture the Flag” but of course they tried to be more creative and used safes instead of flags, which makes sense to me. I’m looking forward to this game, and hope a decent demo is released soon although I think I’ll have to wait a bit longer..
